We are seeking a high-caliber Business Improvement Coordinator – Africa Region (CH1270) to join our team based in Pietermaritzburg. This role offers the unique opportunity to lead transformative operational initiatives and drive business excellence across the African continent.
Key Responsibilities
As the Business Improvement Coordinator – Africa Region (CH1270), you will play a pivotal role in standardizing processes and elevating operational performance. Your daily focus will include:
- Leading and coordinating high-impact business improvement projects across multiple African operations.
- Driving inventory optimization and effective working capital management.
- Implementing Lean and Operational Excellence methodologies to streamline workflows.
- Developing and managing KPI dashboards to monitor performance and project progress.
- Facilitating change management initiatives to build internal operational capabilities.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial departments to unify best practices.
Required Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this position, you should have a solid foundation in industrial operations and a track record of driving improvements. We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical field.
- Between 5 and 10 years of professional experience in business improvement, operations, or supply chain management.
- Proven expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and advanced data analytics.
- Strong familiarity with inventory management, supply chain planning, and ERP systems.
- A demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and manage organizational change.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to influence teams at all levels.
- Relevant industry experience in Agriculture, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain environments.
