Key Responsibilities
Academic Teaching & Learning
- Facilitate undergraduate and postgraduate modules through both online webinars and face-to-face sessions.
- Deliver engaging, student-centred learning experiences that foster critical thinking.
- Develop high-quality learning resources for our Learning Management System (LMS) that align with institutional quality standards.
- Provide proactive academic support and manage student queries effectively.
Assessment & Quality Assurance
- Design, mark, and moderate assessments to ensure academic integrity.
- Actively participate in internal moderation processes to uphold high educational standards.
Curriculum Development
- Review and enhance module guides to ensure industry relevance.
- Contribute to continuous programme improvement and the design of innovative teaching methodologies.
Research & Postgraduate Supervision
- Conduct impactful research and contribute to scholarly publications.
- Supervise Honours and Master’s level students.
- Participate in community engagement initiatives that align with our institutional values.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- A Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9) specializing in Information Technology or Business Analysis is required.
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an academic or academic management role within a Higher Education environment.
- Proven experience lecturing in Information Technology and/or Business Analysis.
- Proficiency in working with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
- Prior experience in postgraduate supervision will be considered a distinct advantage.
