Measured Ability is seeking a skilled legal professional to join our team in the Western Cape as a Professional indemnity and liability Claims Handler – Cape Town. This role is based in the Cape Town area, spanning from Camps Bay to Maitland.
Role Overview
As a key member of our claims department, you will play a vital role in achieving organizational success by efficiently processing and validating insured claims. Your primary objective is to ensure that all claims are handled within reasonable time frames, directly meeting the needs and expectations of our clients. You will be responsible for liaising closely with specialists and underwriters, utilizing the insights gained from these interactions to finalize claims effectively and accurately.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Hold an LLB degree and be an admitted attorney.
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of post-admission experience specifically within contracts law or litigation.
- Previous experience or technical knowledge within the engineering or insurance industries would be highly advantageous.
